Definitely one to forget. Pretty bad everywhere. Transition defense , d zone coverage specifically terrible. Still creating little 5v5 offense and when we have good chances not able to finish. Sloppy overall in terms of puck movement and reading plays. On to Saturday. Before this road trip I thought if we could get 4pts out of 8 it would be good anything else would be bonus so there’s that I guess.
Edit. I’d also like to point out we need to get healthy. Obviously määttä and Walman were out tonight and that was awful. But we need to start getting guys back who can help offensively unfortunately that seems like a month or so out.

These issues have been there all along, but it’s starting to become too much for this team to overcome. Effort and an easy schedule can only get you so far. Lalonde may have to do some magic if these issues continue for much longer, because we can’t tread water forever.
You think lalonde will give them the lashing they deserve or take a laughingly lax attitude towards the loss?
This team was so bad tonight. Just complete garbage. I hate these lines, get someone who can play with pace to be with Larkin, his speed is his best asset and I’ve never seen him play such a slow game.
Look we all knew it was going to be a fight to snag that last playoff spot, but I think we’re in good shape so long as there’s no teams above .500 left on the schedule.
I for one don’t like these games that are supposedly a good test.
They really do show where we are sadly.
We’re beating the teams we should be and losing to the ones we should also. Here and there we can steal a game but we still have a ways to go.
