   damn lit him up like a Christmas tree, this team is so different, it’s not just 1 or 2 players laying the big hit all the time anymore, I even saw Marner I think light someone up this season

   I’m not sure what the first LAK player checked was complaining about. The hit was a bit blindsided, but fully shoulder to shoulder, AND he just received the puck, so he’s eligible to be hit.

   Did he feel he not realize he had the puck or something?
