For those wonder, the context is he took a slight stick smack to the back of the helmet earlier in game from a Leaf’s player behind the play. They’re booing because it wasn’t that hard and watching the video you can see the slash, a brief pause, and then he dramatically falls onto the ice. 5 penalty still deserved cause really it’s just an idiotic thing to do but he played it up as well. Personally don’t like either team
This is one of the times i wish NA fanbases were a little more vulgar cause a chorus of "Durzi is a Wanker" would've probably had a better effect. Booing a player is just a little boring
i swear Toronto fans boo at everything if it doesnt go their way. Durzi does a dive cause the stick will still stun you no matter how hard (players do this when they bob their head from a high stick), but it also shows officials that he got wacked in the head. Its part of the game and u cant be wacking in the head with a stick thats just a dumb penalty no matter how dangerous. Toronto get some empathy and realize that it was 100 percent a 5 min major for intentional and a dangerous situation

Gotta feel for Sean’s dad,…..imagine being a die hard leafs fan your whole life, bleeding blue, then your kid gets drafted by the team you love…was probably the proudest moment of his life…..then he gets traded and everyone in leafs nation is booing your child…..he was dying a little inside
I think the booing was mostly playful, especially when you're up 4-0. I'm pretty sure the Toronto fans are actually proud that one of their own made the NHL, and good on him. That being said, it's really nice to see some life from the Leaf crowd. Make it a more hostile place for opponents.
Man, we definitely could've won this one. Didn't watch the game but I'm assuming the defense was terrible, as it has been lately.

Was at that game and I agree engvall should have gotten a penalty as he hit durzi with his stick it was a glancing blow that durzi sold. It was hilarious though how each time he touched the puck the fans gave it to him. He even did a drop pass that went all the way back and people went wild

If I want to watch people hit each other with sticks, I'll watch American Gladiators…plus girls in spandex makes it better anyways.
