WTF did that 4th line do out there? Lucic played maybe 3 minutes tonight. At least Gulutzan benched Dennis Wideman in his final season and people felt he was too soft on vets when all was said and done. Wtf is Sutter then…

Only two positives were Markstrom having an excellent comeback performance, and a rock solid penalty kill.
Other than that, something has got to be done about this offense. It is so predictable, so timid, and so lacking in finish, we are never going to go anywhere in the playoffs with it performing like this. I’m not even confident we’re gonna make the playoffs at all. We have 3 road wins all season.
Tre needs to make up his mind in the next month or so as to whats gonna happen here. This whole group is underperforming massively in the offensive zone. If we’re gonna compete, somethings gotta change. I dunno what it is, but please just get Phillips in this lineup somehow and get Lucic out. Looch is just unbearable out there this season.

I’m getting less excited by the game to watch our new players work since the pieces just aren’t fitting together right. At what point do we panic or give up on this season?

Unrelated to the game but I just found out my Blasty jersey from nhlshop.ca is lost in transit and out of stock and they can only refund. I live out of town but a friend is going to the dome soon, do they sell Blastys there? I’m so deflated.
I was gonna do some mushrooms and go for a night walk and enjoy this beautiful moon but the Flames sucked all the joy out of my life tonight.
I asked in the GDT if anybody knew if there has been a players only meeting? I may be wrong (or it was a dream) but I feel like in the past we had one and it helped. With the struggles, the new folks, what must be building frustration for the players, maybe its time one of our 4 A’s step up and lead a bit. I realize I am grasping at straws but I can’t figure this out. I try not speak negatively about our guys ever… I just hope we show up tomorrow for the Leafs.
