I don’t even know who to be mad at tonight. We don’t look horrible, Flower didn’t give up a softie, and we have 44 fucking shots on net lol
This will be dumb’a last season in the show.
Yeah man I dunno, that sucked. At least Kappy’s point streak is alive?
We need more goals from Petan, Greenway, and Foligno. Can’t have 3 of our middle 6 with 4 goals combined.
We can survive without one top 6 forward (like last season), but not two. Guerin needs to do something if he doesn’t want to waste this season. Scoring wingers right now are undervalued. We should have outbid Seattle for Bjorkstrand.
At the end of the day though, we’re not gonna win many games with our starter having a sub .900 save %.
I am straight up not having a good time.
i think boldy’s really fighting it. i’m not down on him or anything but he does not have that finishing ability right now. he had some great chances tonight.
Tough not to get a win here. Special teams a big story for the 2nd game in a row. Went 1/5 on the PP and they went 2/3, they took advantage and we could not. Skinner played lights out tonight. Wild were getting pucks on net all night and bodies in the paint, he just came up with a hell of a game.
Hopefully the Petan experience is over with and we see Walker tomorrow, that whole line did not have a good game. Suspect Addison back in tomorrow night for Merrill or Goose. Hate to say it but they might look at taking Boldy off PP1, his decision making and execution lately has not been good.
On to Vancouver! Need to finish this road-trip out on a high note before coming back home and playing these same Oilers again Monday!!
I think Edmonton is just better (unfortunately). We could be Boston right now
Sorry folks, had to work all night. From what the updates were telling me, wasn’t a great game. Hope you all at least got a good buzz. See you for a late one tomorrow night!
It seems like the team isn’t melding this year. Like they are carrying the stress of starting the season of poorly. Big leads ending in OT/shootout, loss of focus on the blue line, stupid penalties. It’s off or something.
Boldy line is invisible.. again feel like he’s getting the fiala treatment with the worst linemates… Patan just ain’t it, hopefully he’s the one scratched tomorrow.. I get more excited when 4th line is on..
Obviously Boldy is also fighting it, missing some decent opportunities that he is missing.. but overall his line is the weakest from my opinion…
