  1. if hes getting traded they need to trade for a good current player instead of picks and prospects since they could easily be a cup contender

  2. Nucks sign miller for 8.4 a year…gets 55 points next 5 years…trade miller…100 points a year for 5 years…

  3. Imagine if he has an even better year next year or another 90+ points. Then he’s defiantly walking. Him or horvat

  4. They missed their chance to move him. If they wait until the trade deadline, trading him might look horrible if Canucks are in a playoff spot. U extend him now unless I can trade him before the season starts. Also if we extend Miller then it is Bye bye Bo

  5. JT's season may have been an anomaly, but there are so few top tier scorers in the NHL today that media is going to drool over anyone near 100 points. Do you think he can reach that number again, with Vancouver or elsewhere?

  6. If benning didnt sign so many bad contacts then extending him for a reasonable amount would be easy. We also have horvat up next year that we need to resign. Only way I see a trade is if we package him with pearson or myers (with some retention)

  7. When the Flames eventually trade Tkachuk to the Coyotes, a 42 goal and 62 assists 24 yr old winger, besides getting numerous first round picks/prospects, 2nd round picks, etc , what do you consider the additional returning material will be?

  8. There is nothing wrong with JT walking away next offseason.
If other teams are refusing to give up a top prospect or a top 6 player in a trade. Rutherford and Allvin can use the freed up cap space and sign JT's replacement.
So I'll just sit back with my bag of popcorn and watch this media war over one player
Knowing that Canucks management have got this.

  9. Miller is just hitting his stride. He is so smart. I bet he gets 100 plus. Especially if the team fires from the start of the season.

  10. Subtext !..Miller is coming crawling back because no other team is willing to pay him what he, thinks, he is worth

  11. Miller’s not going anywhere

I’m Already getting super pumped for next season 🔥

  12. Why do you even bother with your so called what ever you want to call it ? You know absolutely nothing about hockey just go away

  13. I share your concerns, Gio. While Miller's value has not declined as a player, his trade value has declined with the development around the league since the draft. Teams now have other options besides Miller and can go to Allvin and say, "Calgary only wants this for Tkachuk, so why should we give you these for Miller?" And if the Canucks wait until the trading deadline to move Miller, he becomes a rental and the value goes down even more. So while I initially agreed with Rutherford that there was no immediate urgency to trade him, recent developments have increased the urgency to get a deal done sooner rather than later.

  14. Miller for Tarasenko. I know some variables & other players/picks/retention may be needed but Tarasenko would be a perfect winger for Horvat

  15. Before this year the only year JT scored more than a point per game was back in 2019 with only 72 points. The guy is 30 when the season starts. 637 games and 454 points and hes 30. He is worth what he is getting paid right now and thats all. Teams have departments of advance stats and there is no way anyone will over pay for this abnormation.

  16. JT doubled his shot total last year. Do you expect a 30 year old to continue that?

  17. This guy had his best year he will ever have and hes signed for one more year at 5+Mil and hes 30. JT has had one good season. Sell when high you idiots.

  18. Ditch the graphics. It distracts from what you have to say. You were good outside the sushi place!

  19. Crazy how things change in just a couple of days. I comment this after chuck got traded for an absolute steal by the flames and dubios will pretty much only play in montreal and the longer kadri holds out the more likely I think it is he finds his way back to Colorado. Now JT Miller becomes one of if not the top guy on the market again and after that chuck trade his value is really high again time to see what happens hoping for a 4 ish year extension that doesn’t break the bank but that probably won’t happen and if that doesn’t happen hoping for a trade that brings back a future number 1 RHD to play with Hughes.
