  1. what does it mean when you place your hand spread on the boards during the game? is it a secret message

  2. Great hard fought win. Hopefully we can beat Minnie again next game. Pretty sure Campbell is starting so I hope the d helps him out and he has a good bounce back game

  3. Beauty game. Stuey standing tall, the Nuge on 🔥, Kostin, Shore, & DR line growing confidence. Gotta love it 🙌🏽🙌🏽

  4. That was a weird effort, this team still has major holes, Nurse is closer to being brutal than he is a major plus factor for this team.

  5. This was definitely a “monkey off the back” win for Edmonton. With Xmas around the corner we will see what this team is. Traditionally after Xmas has been terrible for this team for a while. If they go 5 or 6 games above .500 in the next stretch, I’m willing to bet they will exceed the final stretch they had last year.

  6. Am I the only oiler fan that hasn’t been panicking when they lose. When they lost kane, I don’t know if people realized how big of a loss that was. The dagger was that we lost yamamoto to. Massive blow to our top 6. It takes time to readjust. After a few games foegele started to adjust to the top 6. Then he and McLeod got hurt. Another big blow. Then hyman was out for a game (always a massive loss.) we got yams back, hyman came back the next game, and the players we have brought up are finding their place and now we’re seeing four lines creating out there. Kostin has been a big surprise but I already feel like a big fan. Has drawn a few penalties and that’s huge when the bottom six draws those calls. His line is absolutely clicking together. Having Holloway and Hamblin, having that young blood out there and the energy is also great. This was not gonna all magically work at first.
The other thing, if you watch the hockey guy, he has the most accurate power rankings week to week of how every team is playing. When I looked at this board I realized the oilers were not facing any of the bottom teams on the board. They really didn’t have any “easy” games. We will start to get those now. Like the California teams are all struggling, Arizona we now played and killed, bottom teams in the east. So i don’t think it’s a big deal losing to teams especially like New Jersey, or Dallas, who are having terrific seasons. My only complaint would probably be not beating Washington as they’ve been a weaker team this year. Now they need to win the games against lighter opponents to make up some ground and we’ll be good. Lastly we have what we didn’t last year. A legit goalie. Even when Stu has lost that has been completely on the team. I can’t think maybe there was one, where he didn’t play great. But he does the main thing which is allowing them to compete every night and other nights just completely outplaying the other goalie. That will be massive come playoffs. Let’s go boys!

  7. Back to back games with depth scoring. 12 different guys with a point last game with 6 different multi point players and 6 different goal scorers. Tonight 11 different players with a point and 5 different goal scorers. Nurse was solid. Played 27 min, 5 shots, 5 blocks, +2, and had an assist. Id like to see Janmark on the 3rd line and have kostin/holloway move up and continue to develop. We know what holloway has done with good players and Kostin deserves a shot in the top 6.

  8. Good goaltending sets the team up for sucess.
We are still going to have problems when Soup is in the net.
