    AND THAT’S OKAY

  2. ChillFax

When the Wild win I think to myself, Yes.

  3. basketcase-nimrod

kap, we appreciate the streak loss for gus

  4. HerbalAndy

Gus’s first NHL shutout!! Fuck yes!

Do you think Vancouver intentionally didn’t pull there goalie to make sure Kap couldn’t continue his point streak??

  5. SgtHellbilly

Nice to see a goalie more concerned with making saves instead of highlight reals.

    Gus stayed calm and controlled.

  6. MinnesotaMilkman

Kinda dug Sammy Walkers game tonight

Sorry Kappy but huge shout out to GUS!!!! What a game!!!! 👏

I’m so happy Gus got a shutout. Guy completely deserved it and played his ass off. Great bounce back game, especially on the back side of a back to back.

  9. GUS!! Outstanding game by him, #1 star and 1st career shutout!! PK was stellar this game, got another beautiful shorty to boot!! Couldn’t even tell the boys were playing the second half of a B2B!! Walker very noticeable, in a good way. GREEF locked it down all night.

Would like to see Dean ride the hot hand and give Gus the net Monday night, gives Edmonton a different look too.

That was a fun one. Felt like Brods being back and healthy had a noticeable impact defensively and the boys looked to give it all top to bottom. Lets do that more please.

Love to Gus, but also go Dewar for getting *another* shorty. Keeping us in even when everyone else is commiting penalties haha.

As an experiment I decided to take notes on my thoughts this game while I was watching. Out of order random ramblings from some nobody on reddit that nobody asked for? Here we go!

    -https://i.imgur.com/HeAL0ns.png Lol, whoops!

-Walker looks great, I hope he gets more playing time. When Duhaime and Hartman come back we’re going to have to make some difficult decisions. Either way, I’m excited for the future.

-Brodin makes this team look so much better. He really looked back to form today, which I was not expecting the day of his return.

-Greenway played great. No result but I thought he was killing it. Honestly love that he’s looking frustrated that things aren’t going in. As long as that doesn’t lead to dumbass penalties. He plays so much better with a fire under his ass.

-Boldy needed that goal, good for him.

-Moose is looking better too. I still want more from him this season, but there’s been games where looked entirely disinterested, this one he looked more in tune. Good fight too, that Greenway headshot was ass.

-Dewar with Shaw has been my favorite story this year. I’m a bit annoyed they stuck them with Reaves, but they’ve been shining despite that. Speaking of which:

-This was Reaves’s best game in a Wild uni in my amature opinion. Still pretty bad. Reminds me of Vanek but without the shot. So slow.

-Bally audio still feels off. Maybe it was the completely legal stream I was watching, but it feels like one of my ears was louder than the other, and it still felt like commentary was quiet.

-Gus has been NOTICEABLY better than Flower, especially today. Goalies are voodoo, they get hot and cold seemingly at random, but why not ride the better goalie for a while? Let the 40 year old dude play ever OTHER game maybe? How bad does Fleury’s GAA and SV% have to get before we get to stop blaming lazy defense?

-Every time they took a shot of Bruce and Yeo together I got a little scared.

    -Zuccarello man, just a beast.

-I feel like a lot of my positive vibes from todays came stemmed from the Canucks having bad vibes. Some of their lines felt like they had zero chemistry…Something is wrong with that team.

    -Martin looked good though!

-Nucks fans booing…I guess I’m not the only person to notice the vibes.

-Good game all around. We’ve looked pretty damn good, even in losses lately.

Aight, good night Wild pals. Sorry for the long comment.

Wasn’t planning on staying up for the whole game, but I’m glad I did! Got to see the Gus Bus get his first NHL shutout!

  14. According to moneypuck Wild have a goal differential of +1 with Mason Shaw and Connor Dewar on the ice shorthanded. Also Dewar leads the NHL in shorthanded points and is tied for the lead in goals. He’s a fast skatee, he might become something long term. Also Calen Addison is a very nice addition to the blue line. Also, all aboard the Gus bus.

  15. Kain1633

Dewer is very dangerous on the PK, seems like hes been getting a shorthamd chance per game recently

  16. wildwill57

Freddie Chabot is a good goalie coach

  17. KikiStLouie

That was a well played game for both teams. We did not look like we played and lost last night. Gus got a shutout. Love it! KK can start a longer streak on Monday when we payback the Oilers.

  18. stumpybubba

    Sorry folks, social things again.

Regardless, the boys looked fucking good. Hope you all have a great weekend!
