You should have to treat it like a breakaway you can count to 3 when he slows to a crawl just out of poke range it’s not too impressive

These shootout goals are bullsh!t. The players move too slow and that causes the goaltender to almost come to a complete stop when gliding back into their nets which makes the goalies flat footed to where they cannot slide to one side or the other when the final move is made. You cannot expect a goalie to slide 5 feet across the net as fast as a player who moves their stick 5 feet across the net and then changes direction half way through the move. Just ridiculous and show that half these guys can’t score off of a shot.
