Why pickup McGee to protect the rim and rebound and not start him. Luka would not have to work so hard on defense and trying to help rebound. Players would probably foul less knowing they have help behind them when they get beat. What do you have to lose starting McGee. Luka slows the tempo down bringing the ball up. The defense is set when he get down court. PLAYERS standing around WAITING to see what Luka going to do. To much iso ball. *Need to have K Walker or Dinwiddie attack the basket like Bruson used to do if he can't get a basket. Kick the ball out to either corner or out to Luka. Need to get Finney, Hardaway, or Bullock going early in the game.. Luka can always get his points.. The ball has to move. Assist are low. Should have at least 28 plus assist a game. Took 44 threes against bulls off night. Should have went into the paint to score. Live by the 3 die by the 3-NOT. No communication on defense. Players slow to switch and shift.
Cuban, Harrisson and Kidd are not serious people to run any bascetball team at all.
In the last 4 years they didn't build a serious team around Luka at all.
They prefer average cheap players only.
They are real loosers!
So the best for Luka is to move as soon as possbile to some another much better organisation with serious front office who will know how to build the winning team around him,.
