The battle of Florida at least Kings won as thought Montreal would be a tough game as have another one Sunday. I'm thinking only one team will make it from that state not both in the Post Season way things are going in East this year. I was kinda expecting to do all the other games then Canucks alone later tonight as its the biggest draw or main event for most haha. I'm wondering if Devils are getting benefit of the Coach who replaced Joel Q for Panthers with this guy not able to steer them right? I don't really know though when paying Bob 10M in cap for Goalie then draft Knight giving him like 4M its likely to end up like LA who gave the CAl Quick combo 11M heh. Now its like 12 with Peterson in AHL or so heh.
The NHL is going to launch an investigation into Vinik for owning both Florida teams at the same time somehow.
Second period was a snoozer.
I was at that game, so much fun. During the 2nd and third, they swallowed the whistles. Florida got away with a lot and didn't capitalize at all.
At the end of the day though, people are forgetting that this Panthers team is so cap strapped that they a lot of times do not have any reserves and because of bad contracts like Ekblad and Bobrovsky, they had to get guys like the Staals, Mahura, Cousins, White. I don’t even know how they can bring Duclair back from his LTIR.

Its a shame the panthers are struggling rn. Disappointed in their effort tn. This was where ur season ended last year in humiliating fashion. Even as a lightning fan I expected the panthers to really play with energy and work hard. They simply didn’t. If this run of mediocrity continues it’s likely that they miss the playoffs. That would be a shame.
The lightning played a excellent game tonight outside of the first 8 mins. Really shut the panthers attack down. Don’t look now but the bolts are still contenders to reach their 4th final if they play this way in the playoffs. Hope it keeps up ⚡️
Florida may struggle to get a wild card this year.
That was a tough 5 or 6 minutes to start the game but at least Vasy was ready to go. Great to see the "Big Rig" find the back of the net. Loved the goal by Stammer. Keep banking those points! GO BOLTS!!

Maybe its just me but I think those lightning jerseys are hideous. Colors dont match and they're so busy. They look like they were designed by a 5 year old that felt the need to put something on every square inch of the jersey. They're like European hockey jerseys with decals instead of sponsors. Again, just my opinion. Please dont hate me 😂
