During that game winning goal, was the 6th man on the ice for the Avs a penalty you would call? Is it only if the changing players interfere with the play?

For Tampa to beat Colorado three games in a row seems impossible! The Avalanche just seem to be the more energetic and better team. It'll have to be one game at a time and a little bit of a miracle for the Bolts to to achieve their three Stanley Cup wins in a row.

It was such a great game for the bolts for all of regulation, but once it got to overtime it looked like we gave up. the whole overtime period we just kept playing defense, flipping it out, not getting any offensive pressure, and just letting them run any play they wanted from the neutral zone practically uncontested. and when you're facing a team like the avs, you're not going to get away with that for 20 minutes straight, no matter who's in net. as for the series, i have to say it's pretty much over. we very clearly had problems playing in colorado, and having to win two games in denver (not to mention three straight) when we haven't shown the ability to stop the avs in this series. either way, a great series by the avs.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the bolts do what the blues did and win game 5. But I’m now very confident that we will win either game 5 or 6. If throw out the blowouts, you have the overtime games and we have absolutely dominated both overtime periods. To me, that’s a clear indication that we are younger, more rested, and more hungry. I don’t think anything can stop us from winning one more game, and now that’s all we need.

The rule about allowing play to continue when a mask is knocked off during an “imminent scoring chance” is to prevent the goalies from taking their own mask off when they’re beaten.

I’ve always enjoyed hockey, but I was never infatuated with it like I am with Football (American football….Go Broncos). It’s always felt “too exhausting” to fully understand another sport and indulge completely. You have made it so easy to understand the sport. You break things down perfectly and in a way to easily understand. I appreciate what you do and I admire your ability to not be biased in any way. Might not be a popular opinion but the Lightning are blocking way too many shots… you’ve got the best goalie in the world there’s absolutely no need for the parade of players to the dressing room with injuries. Avalanche notice this and they’re just peppering them on purpose… Stamkos is worth more to the Lightning on the ice than he is on ice. Stay out of Vasi’s lane and let him do his job.
I found this podcast early on this playoffs and it’s great! I watch the aves game then watch the DNVR avalanche postgame podcast, then try to catch this one before I go to bed! If not then I watch this the next day right away
