Patrik Laine suspend le défenseur et lance un revers au gardien de but, alors que la rondelle rebondit et frappe Johnny Gaudreau avant d’être touchée pour la dernière fois par Kevin Fiala et finalement franchir la ligne de but, donnant aux Blue Jackets une victoire de 6-5 sur les Kings de Los Angeles en prolongation.

  1. So just curious…. why is this a goal but when a puck is kicked (like Haulas against Toronto) that goes off an opposing player considered no goal?

  2. It hits Jonny hockey glove then the la kings players stick it shouldn't have counted the Refs are blind.

  3. Lol ok NHL, settle down. Calling this a "MUST SEE Play by the Jackets" is a bit of an overstatement.
    Especially when the whole point of the call on the ice, was that the Kings did all of the work putting the puck in the net.

  4. It would have counted even if it didn't hit the King player. Gaudreau directed it in with the hand that was holding the stick, not his free hand. The 'stick' is presumed to go up to the elbow of any hand holding it. So if you took a slapper out of the air for example but mistimed it, and the puck hit your wrist and went in, good goal. This was a good goal any way you look at it. They were probably reviewing it to see if it hit a glove not grasping the stick.
