I’m hoping Jack finishes the year with like 10 more points than Bratt. It will be tough for Bratt to justify making over $1 million more a year than Jack in that case. But with his agent you never know.

The Salary Cap is projected to increase $4 Mil to start the 2024-25 season. Even if Bratt’s deal ends up being a 9-9.5mil AAV X 8 years, then we’d still be fine

Looking at the rest of these cards…wtf was Siegenthaler’s agent thinking with that ridiculously cheap contract?

The best we can hope for is matching Jack’s contract.
They didn’t hold out all this time to relent and give a team-friendly deal. Honestly my best guess will be 10mil

I think its worth repeating so I’ll say it again. Money and term are not everything- we have plenty of both. I think a big part of the decision was Bratt was waiting to see if we’re actually going to win. I wouldn’t want to sign here if it looks like constant bottom of the standings finishes when I can get the same exact money and a chance to win somewhere else.
This winning season so far couldnt have come at a more perfect time. The best path now would be to convince everyone to take less to build a winner together like the Bruins did.
