  1. I’m okay with horvat being traded, it makes the Canucks significantly worse and will hopefully steer them in the direction of a proper rebuild for once

  2. I'd be sad if we lost Bo for nothing. If he wins a cup somewhere else I would be happy for him.

If we lose Bo, I hope it's for picks and prospects that help us win big and have good careers here.

  3. I don’t blame him. After reportedly lowballing him in the summer and then proceeding to sign Miller to a contract that looked awful pretty much as soon as the season started… I would want out too. Management prioritized an older player after a career year instead of the team captain (who prob would have signed for 7M or less in the summer before his hot start).

I honestly hope somehow they can deal Miller too lol – add whatever sweeteners you need and strip it down to the studs.

  4. I'm fine with Horvat going as it means that canucks are hopefully going to have two first round picks.

Plus I have faith that Rutherford knows what he is doing.

I say Jt or petey for next captain

  5. Horvat is not worth more than 8 mil. I’ve lost quite a bit of respect for him with him not taking 7mil about. I would probably do the same thing lol but I thought he had more character as captain. Take less to win.

  6. I'd love to see him traded to Buffalo.
    I'd give up prospects Savoie (center) Johnson (D), & roster players Krebs (C/winger) Joki (D) & 2024 1st.
And that's….IF he were to resign with Buffalo.

  7. I blame Canucks ownership for the state of our team. If only the judges ruling for Canucks ownership had have been for Tom Gaglardi. The Canucks would have been better off under a Tom Gaglardi ownership!

  8. On behalf of all Jim's everywhere, I want to say you're welcome!!

  9. I think that Everyone is Reasoning From An Incorrect Presumption. I don't think that it's A Given that Bo Horvat would've Signed Extension, and, To Date, Bo Hasn't Hit 99 Points And Is Tied To The Benning Years. Therefore, while I'm not saying that JT Miller will or will not Score nearly 100 Points, He nearly did, Is Not Too Tied To The Benning/Linden Days of Vancouver Losing, and, there's no way of knowing if Horvat would've Extended, But For JT Miller Signing, Or, even if so, if He's Worth $8M.

  10. The name Jim means Doom for the CanNOTS. JR n PA r doing such a bad job so far and it’s a little surprising lol JB f*icked this team so bad n JR is digging the grave deeper. If they can get Bo for young centre n Right D and draft pick, they’re climbing slowly out. Brock out with lower cost player, draft pick, they’re doing okay. Find a new home for JT now we’re cooking!! If not, Myers’s n Garland need to go by next season. Sign Luke unless a team is willing to give a 1st or 2nd but if not need to keep him. Lastly, Demko, any interest with good prospects, draft picks, gotta do it. This team needs a rebuild big time, not easy but that’s why JR n PA get the BIG BUCKS.

  11. Does Colorado even have the assets? Their prospect pool isn't that great anymore. Unless the Canucks can get Newhook + a 1st, or Bowen Byram. I would think that's the type of return Horvat would command.

  12. Sorry Lego I really do feel bad for you Canucks fans. Hopefully he comes to Colorado to help the boys win another cup!

  13. Finally Lego…. honesty! Your finally a real Canucks fan. Nailed it with your comments this video. Good job!

  14. With a bit of luck Bo will join a true contender on US soil which if I were Bo i would aim for – and Yes I am not in the Miller camp. Not sure which conract is worse – OEL:s or Millers.

  15. We don't pay good players to play for us, but we're more than happy to pay OEL 8 million. This team is so dysfunctional

  16. I might be done following the Canucks for a while.

This is a travesty haha. Such an awful mismanagement of resources

Think of what the canucks could have gotten for trading Miller in the summer when his trade value was through the roof

Now i fully expect the nucks get absolutely sleeced in a trade for Bo Horvat.

Maybe if we just trade our top line entirely we can start a rebuild? 🤷‍♂️

  17. I wonder what the Sedins think of this, as they mentored Bo as the future Captain of the team

  18. Thank you Jim Rutherford should be more like it. Signing Miller was the end of Horvat as a Canuck.

I would be happy for Bo to go have an opportunity to win a cup for a better organization. The Canucks are worse off with this new management group. They have no plan at all.

  19. Jim Benning didn't sign Miller to a huge contract that made a big Horvat contract impossible. Allvin and Rutherford did that. I like Horvat, but he IS NOT a 40 goal scorer. $8+ million over 7 would be overpaying. Signing Miller was the BIG mistake.
