Jeff plays chippy and chirps. I have noticed him up it a bit this year along with guys like Dahlin. That’s fine. They are making an identity. I know in the moment things happen, but to take a major for an obvious cross check to the face in the last few seconds of a tie game? It is almost impossible to spend an entire OT 4 on 3 and win. This team also has the PK as one of the biggest issues. They can score at will, but they need to dial in some responsible play.
It happens. I'd rather see a suspension than no reaction from the team after their goalie gets hit.
It was tough to take, we were playing well enough to win, and to be put in that position made it difficult to secure a victory.
I appreciate that Mr. Skinner said he did not mean to catch him up that high and that he learned from it and the team is moving forward.
I thought the suspension was fair, a bloody mouth and I hope the Penguins player did not lose any chicklets.
