  2. flepine44

Fuck injuries, but great game to watch outside of that. GG !

  3. HanWen05

There’s no way the madlad did it again

  4. reidk_97

Such a fun game, really hope Caufield’s absence was only precautionary!

  5. ghg1999

they’re gonna have to do something about this power play lol

also imagine if the quebecois who played for the habs were even HALF as good as the ones who played against them

  6. xc2215x

Good to see the Habs win in the shootout tonight. Suzuki, Anderson, Allen and Slafkovsky were good tonight.

  7. nicckkk_

Dach’s penalty shot goal was nasty

  8. Oliver-Allen

Slafkovsky’s best game, by FAR. He looked like one of the best players out there, playing with so much conviction. He won almost all his puck battles and his passes were so crisp. Wasn’t afraid to shoot on the powerplay and his shots almost always got through. Very impressed.

  9. Thormynd

Wtf was Pitlick doing there??? Of all the possible choices, why him? But still, what a game!

  10. CocoKing02

    Super happy we won

    Super sad Caufield got injured

    Super happy slaf got point

Super sad at our inability to score on pp

Super happy with Allen goaltending today

Super sad at how many chances our D gave Calgary

Mixed bag but we came away with a win, get better soon Caufy! Onto the next one

Don’t let the Suzuki shootout goal distract you from the fact we couldn’t score a goal in 18 minutes of power play time (including a 5 on 3 and a four minute 4 on 3).

  12. CheetahLynx83

My kingdom for a power play goal.

    It’s a miracle they haven’t allowed a shorty yet.

  13. LeBleuH8R

exciting third, beautiful goals from Suzuki and Mr.Dach bricked up in my room right now.

Slaf was very good this game, I’d say one of his most noticeable for sure, for the love of all that his holy please get this man some linemates. So frustrating seeing him go all game without a half decent pass in a shooting position. Meanwhile his dishes are amazing. It’s to the point where I’m starting to think they are intentionally looking him off.

  15. SatireSqurriel

Dadonov must be a double agent at this point. there’s no other explanation

  16. dadoudelidou

My favorite moment was clearly after Suzuki’s goal, Markstom just holding his head in disbeleif..

Can any of you make a GIF of it ?

  17. HabsWeedEtPoutine

Slaf looked great today, pass master.

  18. Independent_Cat_4779

    Hope Caufield is ok.

Suzuki is one of the best players in the league. As a past goalie i can also say he also has a sick sick sense of humor, he just loves embarrassing goalies.

The player selection for that overtime was atrocious, Hoffman, Dadonov, and Armia …….

    Allen played well

  19. sean_psc

    Fire Burrows into the sun.

Jeez, a lot of players went down in that game. Hope everybody’s okay. Once Caufield leaves, everybody knows they just need to focus on Suzuki and there are few real scoring threats.

Slafkovsky had a great game here, no idea why he wasn’t used in overtime at all.

Markstrom has had a really rough season, but he was excellent in this game. But not enough to stop our hilariously improbable winning streak against the Flames.

  20. cryingsimonq69

Harris has 4 points in his last 4 games.

  21. Garland68

    What is Suzuki’s shootout percentage?

  22. MangoTango4949

Guaranteed Markstrom has a Suzuki hate shrine at home

  23. Girthmcgee

Suzuki shootout move reminds me of how Koivu had his signature shootout move, that would always work

  24. HabsChronicles

Allen with yet again one of his Price mode performances. He hates Calgary so much that he activates Price mode everytime we play them

  25. davetherave99

That game was pure stress. Long pole Cole injured, trash power play and markstrom standing on his head. Good job Suzuki is a god in shootouts. Also slaf was good and that makes me happy

  26. demolitionrob

That was a battle. We came out on top.

Habs fans two weeks ago: Is Sam Montembeault becoming the team’s true number one goaltender?

    Allen:

  28. SphericalArc

Overheard in the Flames locker room after the game:

« He got me, » Markstrom said of Suzuki’s shootout goal. « That f***king Suzuki boomed me. »

Markstrom added, « He’s so good, » repeating it four times.

Markstrom then said he wanted to add Suzuki to the list of players he works out with in the summer.

  29. lunag1234

    Incredible game by slaf.

He should be played in OT more. Seems very confident and it makes sense. He’s used to playing on bigger ice where he has more time, 3 on 3 would be perfect for him
