Cannot believe we made it through that OT what a performance by Marky. Need to be more disciplined and not give up so many power plays. Still fun game to watch love the young player line!

  2. natenicholson

Well I guess we’re not going on a ten game win streak

  3. dalkride

Bright spot: Markstrom looked very very good.

  4. HumbleInterest

Sending the strongest possible vibes to Chris Tanev right now.

Good game for Markstrom. Get some fucking discipline, boys.

  5. speers11

Watching half a game of special teams is not enjoyable.

  6. Beans_Daily

Can we stop with the OT penalties.

  7. natenicholson

Love you marky, glad to see you got your game back

  8. tristan1616

Everyone died just for us to fold again. Goddamnit.

  9. thraxinius

Calgary Flames try not to take a penalty edition. Level : Impossible

  10. Drcanadaeh

Maybe next game we’ll stay out of the box and learn to score. Was a fun game though, Marky was as solid as I’ve ever seen him

  11. tmr-013

Welp. Looking forward to the Barn Burner

    Pp specialist Matthew Phillips

Stop taking fucking penalties. It’s really really killing us right now.

  14. vonnierotten

Classic Flames hijinks in OT. Love their dedication to the bit.

Markstrom was awesome tonight. It’s frustrating that the guys in front of him played like clowns. Ridiculous 2 on 0 miss, yet another stupid penalty in OT. Like come on.

    Marky needs some offensive support.

Flames need to turn this around. Fast.

  16. Markstrom will be the one to get us to the wild card. Our offense and undisciplined play will make us lose the first round.

  17. treple13

Given we can’t beat Montreal, a point is the best we could expect

  18. Trufflehunter89

We’ve seen this team without tanev if he’s out for long we are so so sooo fucked

  19. cloudyboy

    Pick One:
Markstrom puts on a goaltending clinic or
Flames decide to score more than once

  20. Top_Tumbleweed

What if we try winning a game in regulation? Can’t take OT penalties if you don’t go to OT

  21. xThunderstruck33x

Not good enough to be a contender and not bad enough for Bedard.

Just start playing the kids more. I want to see what we have in Phillips and Ruzicka, not interested in watching the Lewis line get more ice time.

Literally the only problem with this team is that there are always people who never show up. Sometimes its the goaltending (not tonight though) other times its the top line, or times like today the second line was quite invisible while our fourth line was actually quite good. There are so many parts of a whole that shine in different games but we have never seen them come together for a single 60 minutes. And it is very frustrating, because this team can be so much better than they have been doing. They literally have almost everything they need.

  23. CaptinDerpII

Jacob Markstrom stood on his fucking head and almost single handedly stole us that game. Props to him

  24. MechashinsenZ

At least Edmonton lost? We still care about that right?
