I think he was shooting for in between the glove and pad this time. Markstrom had his glove higher to anticipate it going up (every goalie knows what Suzuki has done) and Suzuki would have elevated it higher if he wanted to go over.
I just don’t understand how that happens. I mean everyone in the building, including Markstrom, knew what he was gonna do, and he still pulled it off. Look how hard Markstrom is cheating to that side. Frankly, Suzuki would have been better to just rip it past Markstrom’s shoulder when he saw how much he’d over-committed. But he somehow still slips that through. Unreal.
