Most of their top players are over 30. Like Fox, Igor, Miller. All total geezers.
Weren’t the Rangers like one of the five youngest teams just last year? This guy don’t know.
According to [EliteProspects.com](https://EliteProspects.com), Devils are the 3rd youngest team, Rangers are 5th youngest this season.
Also worth noting that Jaro Halak at 37 years old bring our team average up almost 0.5 years, we’d have a lower average age than the devils if Georgiev (or some other 20-something) was our backup.

Jokes aside, yes, this person are dumb. We are a young team with a couple 30y/o star players (which has simultaneously hurt the development of the kids while speeding up the rebuild). Rangers are similar to last year in the sense the look dominant for stretches and for whatever reason just completely take the foot off the gas and then look awful, which is apparently the only stretch this guy watched.
Not sweating the Devils though, they have big ’21-22 Florida Panthers’ energy’ and I personally don’t think their style of play is going to translate against teams like the Bolts and Bruins in the playoffs.
