I'm locked on Flyers.
Anisimov is playing well in Lehigh, the Flyers have no room for him. He's auditioning for the rest of the league. Expect him to get picked up & Chuck's time, money, & resources spent on him will have been wasted. May lose Allison in much the same way. There's too many un-moveable pieces – JVR, Hayes, Sedlak, MacKewen, Deslauriers on the current Flyers roster blocking the way for Bellows, Lycksell, Laczinski, Willman, Foerster to get regular spots. Accept the fact that DeAngelo, Risto, & Seeler are NEVER going anywhere as long as Chuck runs the show. It will come down to Sanhiem & Braun trades to make spots for York, Zamula, Attard. That's one too many so one of them will end up traded.
The offense is so inconsistent. Frost, Farabee, Laughton, Tippett each made the score sheet in the Arizona game. Fine & dandy. Now watch – a week will go by with none of them doing anything. MacKewen had 4 goals in the 1st week of the season, none since. Deslauriers & Brown might go goal-less all year. The once – hot pair of Cates & Sedlak have gone belly – up. Provy lost his scoring touch 2 yrs ago. Sanhiem & DeAngelo might score 1 game & then become invisible for a week. Seeler, Risto, & Braun have not been an impact in the scoring all season. Granted, the coach has them focused on 'defense 1st' play. This team relies too much on TK, JVR, & Hayes – that's all they've got right now. And hoping Atkinson will be the savior.
