1. Hated the Retro when I saw it online. In-game the entire ensemble is f^cking beautiful. We're undefeated in the Avs/Rockies Retro💪🏻💪🏻

  2. Good show guys and a really gutsy win by the Avs today. I really doubt that Makar is out there trying to show up the refs during the game. He's wearing a letter right now, so it's his job to talk to them, and I would bet that he's doing it respectfully even if it might seem a bit heated in the moment. Love how Foudy is playing right now, but I honestly think it would be best if he takes what he's learned from this experience and put it to work on the top line for the Eagles for most of the rest of this season. Next year we can have the conversation about whether or not he's a regular NHL player but he still has some developing yet to do. By the way, this season will count as the first year of his ELC no matter how many games he plays in the NHL so that year is getting burned regardless. Here's hoping E-Rod can play on Tuesday and we start to get some semblance of a NHL top 6 again.

  3. Like your recaps, glad i didn't have to wait till tomorrow. This game gives me hope for the deep lines in the future as did last game. Appreciate you 2.

  4. I think the last time I saw so much collective pain here in Colorado around the Broncos was when we dropped the Super Bowl against the Seahawks, ironically.

  5. F the rangers fans, I'm not surprised people who live in New York have a hard time with someone freely speaking. Cale is still a young male.. not sure if ypu guys can recall what that's like lol but testosterone is pumping after a game like that I'm sure

  6. The AHL players fitting better and better. Mikko probably plays his best season. Now they have to continue this success and best PHI and BUF, MUST-win games. Cale was just pissed that they lost the game against the Rangers, don't put too much in that comment. Sometimes the moment gets the best of you. He will never be a bad boy, he has a great family and his parents did a great job with him. All hail Cale!

  7. FRANKIE! The Moose was most certainly loose as well! I was only able to catch bits and pieces but tuned in right as they went on that last pp with the sad Saad goal and the magic that ensued from there! Ain't nothin the refs could do to save the blues, stare at the screens as long as you need to, God knows that's how Bostons been doing so well. Go Avs! Great win, let's keep em coming!

  8. Really hoping Foudy stays on this same trajectory and sticks around as a 3rd or 4th liner when more guys start coming back. Really loving his energy and he’s not playing like a 20 year old with very little NHL experience. With the right line mates, wouldn’t surprise me to see him start to add scoring depth to a 3rd or 4th line. Although it’s a small sample size, I’m also really liking Brad Hunt and I think he could end up being the regular 7th man on defense to fill in when any of the top 6 are out. Guy has a canon of a shot.

Regarding the game, pretty sure when Saad scored the short handed goal that I used every curse word known to mankind. And then with 7 secs left, used all those same words but with different meaning, LOL. Highly entertaining game and glad to see the Avs looking a bit more like the Avs. I think if this core can stay healthy while others are still recovering, they can keep their head above water to avoid having to go on a tear the 2nd half of the season just to make the playoffs. And looking like Helm and Rodriguez are close so that should help. Still keep wondering what in the heck happened to Bo as he was getting ready to play the second game in Finland before being scratched and now it’s been over a month. Even though they say it’s a lower body injury, I’m hoping it’s not actually upper body if you know what I mean. Just seems odd that he went from seeming perfectly fine to out indefinitely.

  9. Most every NHL player was the best player on their teams when younger and egos grow quickly. Makar has done a great job tempering his ego and it's ok every once in a while when emotions show..no need for an an apology. Makar, along with the rest of the team, obviously knows this is a team game. The Avs franchise has pushed that well with the entire organization. These kids are young but are led well so growing personally and as a team will continue. Fans always blow things out of proportion but it also gets clicks for media storylines. No harm done. Rantanen has a STRONG back! Go Avs!!! Cheers 🥂

  10. This might just be me, but every time I think ahead to a month from now and realize that our current top line will essentially become the second line, 2nd become 3rd, and so on, I feel so good. Like this team can already win games and look competitive with this roster, and THEN we're gonna add the 3-headed monster on top of it once everyone is off LTIR/IR? It's gonna be so great. I mean yeah I know we just won lord stanley but it's been months since we've seen a fully healthy Avalanche and I can't wait to see them again.

But I'll still enjoy our current kid lines battling it out and stealing game for us while it lasts, they have insane energy

  11. It would have been 5 losses in a row, actually. They needed this win bad. Getting it against Binnington is just icing 😁
I am down for Cale getting snarky here and there. It's interesting that he is comfortable enough to let it out a little. I don't think we'll see it too often though. Hockey players seem to have the canned responses down pat for the most part.

  12. Rangers fans really got their chonies in a twist over Cale just making an observation 😂 Shesterkin IS about the show. Remember that dive during the playoffs last year…
