Does anyone know if the Melnyk girls are planning to retain part of the team in any sale?
They seem to both enjoy doing this kind of thing (and they’re good at it!), and I know Eugene wanted them to hold at least partial ownership basically forever.

This Ottawa Sens team is full of real mensches and the joy with smiles on both the players as well as the kids tells me everything.

As excited as I am for the next era of the sens with Reynolds as a likely part-time figurehead, I like the low-key but important presence the Melnyk sisters bring as figureheads. Makes our team feel so young, spry and ready for the future.

If the Melnyk’s retain a legacy stake in the franchise it would be cool if new ownership allowed them to continue this tradition each year!
