Hopefully Jesse gets a fresh start. Can throw Barrie in on the deal. Campbell will come around and If not Skinner is playing well. Better defence and Nurse playing as one would help. Keep the vids rolling

I was reading yesterday about St. Louis and Edmonton swapping starters. Soup for Bennington. Same money/term, I believe. Soup would go to a less stressful market and Bennington a new start. What are your thoughts on that scenario?
Oilers would have to offer more then just pul for Klinberg, also add way more then just Campbell for Gibson. Gibson has a better track record then Campbell. Campbell has had one and half good seasons lol.
The oilers don't need Klingberg because he is an offensive defenseman. He has been in the minus for the past 3 years with Dallas. Barrie has a similar offensive skillset as Klingberg. The oilers need a defensive defenseman. Someone like Adam Larrson is big and strong.
Oilers Def need a Dman…we lost Klefbom with no replacement. Would have loved to see him succeed.
None for nothing the Oilers needs are for a new coach at this point, more balanced game and strategies, potentially what Trotz brings to the table, one of the best defensive minded coach, does a 360 an turns into offensive game, afterwards you’ll see better deals, trades being made and players wanting to play for the Oilers because of Connor, Leon and having Trotz. Can give a sense of belief too play for Edmonton and to reach their next level. Woodcroft is a good coach although this is Trotz mission to have mcdavid reach his legendary status

Klingberg for Puljujarvi and Tyson Barrie makes sense. Jack Campbell needs defenceman that allow him to see the puck! Oilers have not played well in front of him, I believe he’s working hard at his game and he played well in the last game against Nashville minus the early goal which he was screened by Nurse! Campbell has not played enough in an Edmonton uniform, most experts believe he’ll be just fine just needs some time according to Wayne Gretzky and Evander Kane who’s been in the league for a long time…. I have belief and so do his teammates. Thank God Skinner is playing well!

Klingberg is horrible at defence and would just add to our problem on defence, he was a -4 last game. I’d rather have Shattenkirk for JP straight across.
