It took all of 97 seconds for the Kings to completely destroy any kind of momentum we had coming into this game. The rest of the game was an embarrassment to watch. Kings were outclassed badly. On to DC to get thrashed again.
Canes last two wins are because of amazing organizational depth. And the Hurricanes have 10 prospects in this years World Junior Championships. This team is set to be good for a long time. And the canes move into first place in the NHL tonight!
Jack Drury, what a player. Canes seem to have found their offense again with some of their big names out. Going to be Stanley cup contenders for a good while in my opinion.
Canes did play good tonight but imo it wasn’t as lopsided as the score suggest. That first cane goal should have been disallowed and the power play goal following would not have happened either.
