While we might Only Be A Mincing Of The Retool/Rebuild (I see Building Around On One Major Guy – e.g. The New York Rangers Building Around Chris Kreider (The Only Of The Players From The 2014 Finals Season), I think that we're saying The Same Thing. I see Vancouver Building Around Those Young Guys You Mentioned, and, JT Miller being The Only Veteran, I Disagree About Thatcher Demko. I think that They Should Trade Him, and, Build Around Spencer Martin For The Future. One thing that you have to Factor In Is Whether Or Not Their Players Down In The Minors Are Good Enough To Come Up And Make An Impact To Compete. Therefore, I call it Retool, Rather Than Rebuild. With Talented Young Players, such As Hughes and Others, I see them contending pretty Quickly (Less Than The Normal 5+ Years). Let me know what you think

This isn't a hot take at all. It's extremely disrespectful to say things like "Vancouver fans can't handle a rebuild", after the years of directionless mediocrity fed to us for a decade.
I agree most of the contracts are bad, but saying garland is bust, I strongly disagree with that take

Your Canucks jersey collection needs a full rebuild
For a rebuild to happen you need to get rid of OEL and Miller. The length of the contracts and the sums involved makes this an absolute must. With todays incompetent management it seems highly unlikely, which will lock Vancouver up for the next 5-7 years with two old and slow overpayed players. There is no way that EP40 will stay if that is the case and I feel truly sorry for Quinn if he is forced (to stay). Let us face it, the Circus has arrived and it seems to be here to stay. What a shame.
Well, agreed on all points but good luck as long as Aquilini is running the show. Any and all who have uttered the word "rebuild" have been canned within the day. Make no mistake, all Canucks fans, who actually know something about hockey, have been begging for this for 15 years. However, we have never been in a better position to pull the trigger on a rebuild as we are now. Good on you for making this video and maybe changing some simple minds to the truth of the matter.
What the Canucks desperately need is a change of ownership. Francesco Aquilini will absolutely not allow a total rebuild as long as he's in charge. It's Frankie that's holding the entire franchise back.

With the grit and character that Schenn provides, being the only player who plays with a bite and an edge, other than Burroughs, his under 1m contract, plus playoff experience (2 cups plus other runs), you could argue that you can start his bidding war at a 1st, at a minimum, for any teams that want him for the post season.

They had the greatest goalie of a generation in Roberto Luongo, and they actually boo'd him thinking nobodys like Schneider or Lack were better. Embarrassing franchise that was only good when Bure and Luongo played.
If I had even a micron of faith in their drafting I'd say tear it down but the only good picks they have made are when obvious good players fell to them. On top of this we could not win a lottery for anything, Gary is our ball even in the drum 🙄
Yes blow it up. But who is taking on the bad contracts? Almost every team is cap-strapped and won't take on cap without sweeteners, which the Canucks have very few of.
