Left (Fantatics) was purchased at the arena and is a gift (Fanatics, size L.)
Right (Adidas) was preordered from PensGear site and arrived today is for me. (Adidas, size 52.)
As you can see, the patch is definitely different between the two: one is embedded and stitched vs. the other. Neck spacing slightly different, obvious standard differences between the Adidas and Fanatics.

Did you have to ask for the WC patch for either of these? I got the Wild’s WC last season (adidas version) and that patch cost extra which I thought was ridiculous so I didn’t do it.

I’m blown away by the Fanatics quality on these. Frankly, really disappointed in the numbers on the Adidas authentic. I’ve never gotten a Fanatics jersey before, but I might swing for one in a Malkin or Letang with the A on them.
Edit: looks like the nameplate on the Adidas jersey is incorrect too, compared to the jersey reveal photos from the Penguins instagram account. The Fanatics nameplate is correct.

The nameplate on the Guentzel looks… not great. Also, I think it’s borderline criminal they get to call the indo-jersey’s « authentic », they’re no more authentic than the fanatics one.

I didn’t know you could get fantasies jerseys at the stadium? Have they always sold them there?

Just returned my jersey I got from pensgear today, it’s insane how low quality the numbers are, which I understand why, but I just ordered a custom through adidas because the felt was just awful.

Any online sources for these Fanatics models that aren’t sold out of adult sizes?

I wanted to be positive, but holy shit… This kinda bums me out that we paid decent money on preorders that look like shitty knockoffs… That nameplate is an eyesore.
