Horvat is overachieving this year…. especially since he wants out. He's had a hot start goal-wise, 20 G, just 8 assists, and his highest point total in his career is 61. He's not going to fetch as much as many think he will. He has no playmaking ability, and is bad defensively…..GMs will know all this. A team may get suckered into it though.

I was looking for the giraffe..no sighting but I would happily settle for Bo Horvat. Big Isles fan and appreciate the coverage. You have the team sized up pretty well, with another solid forward combined with their solid defense and Sorokin in net they have a chance at another deep run. In my humble opinion. I personally would rather substitute Beau for one of the top prospects you mentioned, I’m not that big on his game – he’s consistently inconsistent. Would love to add Horvat, wanted him on Islanders back in his draft year. Enjoy the vacation.

Thought the Canucks-Isles chat would be about Boeser, not Horvat. It's possible… Horvat is Lamarello's type of player.
