No way that’s close enough right? I’d expect Raty and 2 firsts. Or Raty, Dobson and a First.
The main issue here is the isles biggest hole is their issues on D.

Said it once, and I’ll say it again – Nucks fans about to be disappointed with return on Horvat.
People we aren’t getting barzal and we aren’t getting dobson hahaha.
Honestly don’t want Horvat to go after hearing he’s trying to lead like Mackinnon. I highly doubt he’s the issue, and I’d rather pay to move Miller and any other guy who’s contributing to this frat-like locker room than see Horvat shown the door.
Unfortunately it might be too late, which is a huge shame.

Kind of a weird trade offer 2 lefty dman prospects and a 1st. I don’t really know anything about the prospects, but I thought the assumption was a center, rhd, 1st. Just find it strange they didn’t pick pieces that fit the asking price.
Canucks just had the worst decade in franchise history. They need to shake up the locker room and one tactic to do that is to switch the C which can be humiliating to the guy they peel it off of. If they trade Horvat they spare him the embarassment if taking the C off of him. It sucks for him because he just gave the organization 6 years at 5.5 in a team friendly deal but it would suck a lot more for him to take another deal less than 8.
I’ve given up reading the Horvat rumours… it’s something different every morning now.
If you’re hearing about it from the media then it’s not gonna happen.

This is all setting up for a Boeser trade and Horvat resign.
Odelius, Bolduc and a first? I’m prepared for the return not to be stratospheric, but that’s low for a lowball. A mid 20s pick, last year’s second and a 23(?) year old minor leaguer with injury history.
Like we aren’t getting Dobson or Barzal or both, but a top RD or C (Raty, who Benning passed on for Klimovich btw…) and some picks is the bare minimum.
