God damn Hart are you on team tank or not???

  2. VasiliiZaytsev

The Flyers are a fucking train wreck. They look like the mid-2010s Devils riding Schneider to mediocre draft picks. They absolutely stole two points when they deserved to be blown out by 5+ goals.

BRB gonna go take a nice relaxing bath with my toaster.

  4. iamcornholyoh

How do we get back on that heater

  5. Haywood_Jablowmi

2 goals on 84 shots over the last 2 games. Finishing is nowhere to be found.

  6. HopelessEsq

Ok, it’s time to adjust that pain meter. Wtf.

  7. Played great tonight. Can’t get discouraged over a loss like that.

  8. vtloncto14

Still think they need someone who can park in front of the net and not get moved from screens / clean up rebounds. It’s too easy for other teams to block shots imo

  9. DonnyA22

We’ve been debating Bratt’s contract, but it seems Nate Bastian may require a blank check. This shit started when he went down.

  10. mxskater

Well boys we’ve gone full circle and we’re back to moral victories.

  11. RakimWebster

This one hurts. Devils played great but Carter Hart was fantastic. Severson can’t let that turnover happen

    68.1% on the Deserve-to-Win-O-Meter. Pain.

So I guess funks like this are why it was important for them to rack up points early in the season?

  14. IrateBarnacle

Where do I sign up to donate organs to get Bastian and Palat back?

  15. Amphoric

Can the players do another one of those meetings they did before they went on that long win streak?

  16. VasiliiZaytsev

Also, some of the comments here are insane. Did we watch the same game? How the fuck do you guys watch us outshoot the Flyers 49-24 and draw the conclusion that we played poorly and are going to miss the playoffs? Have you ever actually watched this team play shitty hockey? Did you miss all of the 2010s? We controlled play the entire game and lost because we got goalied. It happens sometimes. If they play like this every night they will usually win. It was an unlucky night. That’s it.

It sucks to lose, but the team put up 49 shots, and controlled majority of the game. Sometimes you gotta credit the other teams goalie, Hart stole one. Can’t be too mad about this one.

Hate that 4th line tho, just send Holtz down at this point

Team has officially cooled off. Still competitive, good and playoff bound, but the hockey gods certainly have damned them this month. Not getting a single bounce tonight and the one bad turn over in the 3rd ends up in the net

49 shots is outrageous. Sucks it’s a skid but that is a serious shot total.

Very frustrating loss (several of those lately).

But the Devils really did dominate and lost because Carter Hart stole it.

In this recent losing stretch, Devils have had one bad game were they were in fact decidedly outplayed. As long as they continue to play well, the wins will return.

This is not a bunch of losses due to playing mostly bad hockey and getting dominated. This is a team that is still playing pretty well overall, but is clearly seeing the effect of Bastian being out and thereby transforming the fourth from an asset into…a group that is a minus. But factoring that in, as a team they are still playing overall solid hockey.

Don’t agree? 49 shots does not happen if you are playing poorly.

Bratt needs to remember he’s asking for 10+ this year.

  22. 2 points in 3 games against the Flyers this year. And blown-lead losses to Isles, Rangers and Flyers in one week.

Remember when we were all like, « this win streak is incredible but I’m afraid to let myself actually believe because I don’t want to be hurt again »? I really regret overriding that instinct.

This is actually a really bad time for me to be experiencing this type of bull shit.

    – Smith had arguably his best game of the season tonight.

    – Jack is still a god damn rock star.

    – Shango and Zetterlund in the top six works, keep it going.

    – Four lines skated throughout all three periods.

    – This team stood toe to toe with a « more physical » team and we didn’t really get rocked in terms of physicality.
