This team can and will win the Stanley cup and nobody can tell me otherwise

  2. barffolemeow

UPL deserved that win big time tonight. Play like that for every game going forward my guy and we will make the playoffs I swear

  3. Tsujimoto3

Glad to see that streak come to an end finally.

  4. UncleOrton

If we get 80% of that goaltending moving forward we’re a playoff team

  5. Cough_Syrup55

ERod tried his best but he could not beat the Sabres for his senpai

  6. Ikunakaw

Never losing again baby! You heard it here first!

  7. Unoriginal_Gangster

Big time 2 points. Wasn’t pretty but being down Power, on the road against a good team, that was an important win.

  8. foamocean91

ERod but he’s scoring in a loss for a different team

  9. dasokay

Gutsiest win I’ve seen. First star goes to Luukkonen for stepping it up. Second star gets split between all five defensemen for figuring it out with minimal hiccups.

  10. SergeantBleuCheese

Expected win against a lousy team

  11. osamagotpwnd

Gutsy win. It looked like all 5 D-men + UPL took Power going down as a challenge to step up. And to do it against paid off refs is even more impressive

You don’t get an Ullmark without having faith in a UPL. Dude is a rookie and he’s learning. If he stays up long enough to learn the pro game we will all be all the better for it.

  13. ReptilianSolarBeing

I’m no science bitch, but beating the defending champs makes you the best team in the league, mathematically

  14. Son_Of_The_Empire

only the buffalo Sabres can get outshot 42-21 (with 23 blocked shots!), win 30% of faceoffs, and still have a relatively comfortable 2 goal win

    Additionally, LUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

  15. ericsando

Tage’s goal was #50 in the 2022 calendar year.

  16. seeldoger47

Arizona, Vegas, Tampa, Columbus, are up next Detroit. The Sabres going 6-1 over a seven game stretch is a pretty realistic outcome.

Our D was mad impressive this game for the first two periods. We kept pushing them to the edges and they had no room to get momentum going. UPL looked great out there too. Not sure if we ran out of gas or motivation in the 3rd, but we still got the W against arguably the best team in the league. Hockey is fun!

  18. elkaroo

A rare night where we win and everyone else in our division loses.

Also Clague deserves a spot on the team and shouldn’t be sent back down when the other guys come back.

  19. Sabres-Fan

Hell yea boys!, down a dman, 3 ahl-ish dmen, forwards doing work in the dzone. makes all the difference for UPL, great game.

  20. YankeeTankieTrash

Nice game all around. This team has the tools. Now is a great time to climb the standings.

  21. TheEmbarrasingFool

Only caught the first period, but Sabres looked great. Taking advantage of good opportunities and converting a few. Man they are fun to watch right now.

  22. incaseshesees

    that felt good.

    GG by UPL

a few too many shots against, but it’s a WIN!

  23. OpabiniaGlasses

Mattias Samuelsson with 31:31 Big Dick Minutes tonight

  24. adolce95

That was not one to write home about but they looked good defensively. Samuelsson is worth every single penny of that extension.

  25. BARDLER

Not a pretty win, but with so many defensemen out it was a great effort

  26. bay_watch_colorado

Ball arena was quiet as fuck. Ggz

  27. deGrominator2019

Why does Dunleavy now only refer to him as Lukkonen? Lol, he never calls UPL anymore. Anyway, great win!

  28. cespinar

Avs fans were great in my section. Finally got to watch them get the dub here in Denver after 4 times for me personally.

Tage is so fucking big in person

  29. Sonny_Zwack

Samuelsson is earning every dollar of his deal. Dahlin’s bridge was a mistake. Power has one more year on his rookie contract.
Can’t wait to hear how the game Saturday goes. Someone’s gonna tape it, right?
