I got the Islanders Reverse Retro 2.0 jersey and I think it looks nice in person but didn't even knew that the wave pattern was messed up and when I saw your video and looked at mines they did messed up the wave patter should of matched it up together
The Calgary seam is still worse but this is up there
I got mine yesterday from BenH. I did notice it and I just thought that looks kind of weird but that’s what happens when you don’t embrace the wave and I think it’s done on purpose for the reason being, I’m thinking that if the back stripe mirrored the same size and height of the back one the customization may have looked weird going down Overlapping into the stripe.
I don’t own the jersey but I noticed it when they released it
I make skins for Minecraft that look like nhl jerseys. When I was doing the Isles RR 2.0, I was so confused on how the striping looked. Then I noticed this.
I've been saying this same thing since the day it was released! It was one if the first things that I noticed about it.
This is nothing new. Do you not notice how terrible the striping is on the collar of the Adidas jerseys? Many teams have a stripe that goes around the back of the collar. But randomly disappears or thins out on the front. And looks dumb. The Avalanche, Maple Leafs, Blackhawks, and Canucks are just a few of the teams that have the random partial stripe that mysteriously vanishes or thins out on the front of the collar. And it makes the jersey look incomplete. Where is the video about that?
All together a terrible take on the fisherman…but now in 10 years it’s gonna be one of those jerseys we are gonna say remember when

Wow great catch on the weirdness of the striping. Its a rather uninspiring striping to begin with, but this is a HUGE crash of a wave right here it even makes the original fisherman jerseys look beautiful
