miller seems to be of the opinion that defense isn't in his job description. maybe some time on the third line would help him hone the defensive part of his game.
I wonder how much Millers trade value has dropped since last seasons trade deadline ?
Their biggest mistake was signing Miller. Sure 99 points looks real nice. But aged like milk I'd say.

I'm a Leafs fan. But I watch most nhl games. In my personal opinion. Admit the mistake with Miller and offload that contract, tough bullet to swallow but the leafs made that mistake with David Clarkson.
Sadly, Millers contract is already an albatross that is going to be next to impossible to move unless they retain salary and apparently that won't happen. Brock needs to go on a tear before he's going to have any real trade value (and again, possibly retaining salary). Allvin/Rutherford are running out of feet to shoot themselves in.
