Refs kept the blues in it till the league could embarrass themselves once again at the Oilers expense. Won’t even mention the missed call on Connor in OT. I mean the ice was so crowded it’s easy to miss….absolute joke
Something to be said when McDavid himself is calling out the league. A rarity for him to say something about reffing or the rules set in place by the league. Tough call but the inconsistency of the rules they set in place and how they're called is for sure the biggest issue just like he said.

There needed to be without a doubt evidence that he lost control before the puck entered the zone for that to be called back. 0 interference til Oreilly hits his stick, which comes after the puck fully crosses the line. Rough call but they wouldn’t have been in the situation if Nurse could use his eyes to avoid throwing the puck directly into the other teams players
