I think a lot of Larsson’s shots are coming from traditional point shots too, which aren’t very effective and don’t exemplify positionless hockey. I wonder if he gets some powerplay time with Schultz out though.
Hockey fights are indeed often comical and I would be fine with their removal from the game. They aren’t worth the injury risk even though they do on very rare occasions fire up my lizard brain.
These next ten games are against a lot of playoff teams. Probably the toughest 10 game stretch of the year in terms of strength of opposition. Then in early January there is a big road trip with double back to backs. On top of this there’s the probability of not having Oleksiak and Schultz to start this “Month of Heck”. This is a huge challenge for the team and the moment in the season that will show how resilient they really are!
