It was icing clear as day. Missed call by the refs cost the Bruins points.
On the icing call, the linesman made a bad call, and we will never know what he was thinking. Did he have a flashback to the old rule? Did he think it stopped short of the goal line? Who the hell knows. As for the Bruins, they were playing it like every other player in the game WOULD have played it to that point, everyone had arms up, waiting for the whistle, and as it got to the line, the did what players do 100% of the time in today's game, which is peel off and get ready to go down to the other end. Except this time the linesman waived it off. So yes, they should play to the whistle, but you cannot be surprised that they didn't before this happened, because NOBODY expected this to happen.

Can Boston challenge that icing call? The rulebook is clear and that should 100% be icing. Didnt touch the goalie, didnt go in the net – therefore it is icing. Rulebook does not say anything about blue paint or hitting the goal.
If you go by the last touch by the blue jackets it was punched in which should not count.

That bruins non-icing is a double dang it. The call was wrong (look up Rule 81 on page 122 of the official NHL rules) it says nothing about the blue paint negating an icing. The second dang it was mentioned in the video – play to the whistle!!!!

The refs screwed the Bruins in the Arizona game!! That should've been icing…the pick going thru the crease doesn't matter!! There is no rule where the puck going thru the crease negates an icing! Refs made wrong call!! That was a rule at one time but it was taken out of rule book in 1997! That should've been an icing 100%

I can relate to the ridiculous injury while playing with my dog. Last year I was running and getting my husky to run and chase me in and out of the house, I took the stairs to my basement 2 at a time, and cracked my head open on the low hanging ceiling. Concussion, Tetanus shot, and a lot of laughs after the fact for how ridiculous it was to get injured from playing with my dog.

I think you missed a dangit from the Sens vs Ducks game when Chartier ran the goalie and they reviewed the play for a couple minutes then somehow call it a goal only for Anaheim to challenge it and get it called back for goalie interference.
