I don't know how Steve can do these. I'm a bruins fan, we don't have this illustrious history of choking, and I watch every game assuming somehow the best team in the NHL is gonna blow it.
I haven't been able to comfortably enjoy a single game from this amazing season…

One thing I noticed about vesey this game was that he was absolutely everywhere, getting in the way of passing lanes and forechecking etc. I noticed a really good play from him one shift. then the next he scores.
Also, the leafs power play sucked ass with zone entries this game. Good clogging up the ice by the rangers.
This was a playoff preview for us. Leafs frustrated by blocked shots, sticks intercepting passes, close checking, etc. Matthews, Marner, Nylander…did they even play last night??
Perhaps Rangers would not have scored that second goal if the Leafs had not handed it right to Them.

I blame the Ducks. When the Leafs play a team where they scored 7 goals and could've/should've scored 15 it must mess with your head and make you think you have won hockey forever. Then you play an underachieving, but very solid team like the Rangers it must make them look like they are that other NY team from the 70's. But seriously, in terms of losses, it wasn't nearly as bad as it could've been. The Leafs were flat almost all night. But with effort they kept themselves in this one. A concern I have is this game kinda felt like a playoff game where your opponent kicks up their defense which means you can't expect crisp passing and many scoring opportunities. Plus, you can't have so many giveaways. Let's see how they rebound, I suspect, they will get back on track.
