They were packing the neutral zone, that means you have to dump and chase. Rangers need to be tougher along the boards and in the corners.
I believe in this team and this coaching staff. I figured they were at least a year possibly two away. That could be true still. So far they’ve overachieved in my eyes.we still have a big chance.Injuries are tough this time of year.

This is why every game is important during the regular season so the team can have home ice during the playoffs. It's a best of three and next one's at MSG and also Game 7 if needed. Just win two of three and Rangers are in the Finals. If you told me we'd be in this situation at the start of the postseason I would've absolutely signed up for that.

can't be flat footed between the blue lines an expect to have sustained pressure in the o zone. if the ranges don't use their speed they struggle to create high danger chances

Ladies n gents…..puck is touched 800 times during a game…..its a fast paced game….Stamkos goal was bang bang fast…. stop with the strategy. If you dec ide to change something the team or player will react differently. Let's go tampa….let's go avs.
Reaves has been a non factor in this series, was expecting him to be running around hitting, being a physical presence like he was in the first 2 rounds, to win a stanley cup you need a few goons and bigger physical guys the Rangers just dont have them kind of guys. Tampa knew to win them cups they had to get bigger and more physical, Rangers gotta do the same this offseason get some bigger guys that play the physical style, roster is loaded with too many finess guys
When the Rangers were up 2-0 in game 3 and let Tampa tie it up and win it that was the end of the Ranger's Stanley cup hopes. It gave them confidence that they could beat the Rangers and game 4 sealed it. The Rangers will lose the next two games, mark my words.
If you guys can get past Tampa, I think you'll be ok against the Avs

Two things jump out when I hear him here. One, while it's admirable that he gives so many props to Tampa for the way they've played in this series so far, It almost feels like he's giving them too much respect which seems to be translating down to the players b/c they seem to be doing the same thing on the ice. And, two, it actually made me laugh when he quoted the 8-1 record at home, yet when Tampa had gone 18 games w/o losing twice in a row, he was like "we don't pay attention to records or streaks like that." 😂
TB is packing the neutral zone, either dump and chase or NYR needs to speed up the game. (or both) TB wants to slow it down and make it a defensive clinic and wait for N zone turnovers- and then play along the boards in our O zone.
