Well, tank, and ya that sucked ass.

  2. Sentenced2Burn

So how hard do you guys think MSL can kick a locker-room garbage can with those rippling quads because I think tonight it may go clean thru a concrete wall

  3. RyanWalts

Dach’s line had some genuinely good moments!

Rouuugh penalty for Evans to take in the 2nd. Can’t be doing that. On the bright side, Suzuki had some absurd passes this game. Can’t believe we have a centre like this.

Shoutout to Guhle. I think he can actually do it. Can’t believe he’s emerging as this good. He’s so young, if he can keep improving we could have a fantastic anchor to our defense for a LONG time.

    Great game by Guhle

    Piss Poor game by Matheson

hello under .500 team, my old friend

    we really miss Monahan

Our powerplay was brutal tonight. Tampa’s depth players and Vasilevskiy were very solid.

  7. Beefiest_bison

Erik Gustafsson with a hat-trick tonight against the Leafs lol

  8. Habs_Apostle

We’re definitely headed down the rankings. It’s a good year for it, though. We can take solace in that.

Nick scored! Guhle with a nice assist. That is all.

Did they get booed at the end? I hope they did

Lightning were clearly the better team, that game went about how it should have.

A lot of the people complaining about how bad the Habs have been playing lately are the same people who want the team to tank … pick a lane guys.

Allen should not start at home. Love him but it’s not working.

People ragging Edmundson and Anderson but to me they both were noticeable in good ways and played a good game. Drouin was mostly good too.

We lost because we have one good line and it wasn’t played tonight.

    # YOU’RE NOT FIT TO WEAR THE JERSEY!

    # YOU’RE NOT FIT, YOU’RE NOT FIT!

    # YOU’RE NOT FIT TO WEAR THE JERSEY!

The only sane thing left to say to the players in front of that shitshow.![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|rage)

We are suck, although I can’t complain too much since this is pretty much what I expected at the start of the year.

  13. indiecore

That went about how it should honestly but why is everyone allergic to shooting all of a sudden?

We gotta shoot more, take penalties less.

Trade Matheson, trade Edmundson, trade Monahan, trade Anderson.

    *BAD*

    – I’m sure there will be a lot of good for the tank posts in this thread. You guys are not wrong, it is technically good for the tank. However, watching Edmonton earlier with not just one but two franchise players lose to Anaheim this is more complex than it’s made out to be.

    – Going off that point, Allen, not good. You need to find a true #1 eventually to be successful.

    – Ok I’m a broken record on Josh Anderson. He is still moveable I’m assuming but it’s going to constantly drop off if after the deadline he’s still a member of the Habs. Problem is that contract is hard to move at the deadline. Again, not a bad player but take one look at this particular game and you will see the limitations in which he isn’t remotely a top 6 player.

    – Edmundsun idk if it’s because he gets lots of ice time but I can’t wait to see who’s dishing out that red hot first rounder at the deadline. Really soft around the net tonight.

    – Habs have a ton of deadwood. Problem is some even make decent money I’m not even talking about players like Pezetta or Pitlick, both looking not like NHL players, there are players on this team making decent cash that are liabilities on the ice. Specifically, two that are being used on the powerplay over Slafkovsky.

    – God I hate Tampa.

    – The team had bad depth to begin with. Plus injuries, yikes.

    *GOOD*

    – I’ve liked Dvorak lately. Reading the ice really really well. Struggles a bit offensively of course in terms of finishing but if he keeps this up I like him in that 3C spot.

    – Suzuki goal.

    – Guhle has 1D potential.

You know what I learned tonight? Its this idea that this team need a centre like Sean Monahan.

Also, we miss David Savard and his talent at shot blocking.

Its evident, even in the past, that when guys are out due to injury, the Habs are somewhat depleted squad.

  17. regdunlap66

Jonathon Drouin, doing his best impression of the ghost of a hockey player.

  18. With the state of the special teams, the Habs can’t afford to take penalties or draw them.

  19. freezier134a

I’m not overly shocked, past the first line they are incredibly thin before the injuries. Then they have to take dach off because they have no centers so that destroys the first lines chemistry. They also have one of the hardest schedules from now till the end of the season, gonna be a lot of these games ahead.

    Meet Will Smith

Set to go top 5, is already bigger than jack Hughes but putting up jack Hughes like numbers with no cole caufield.

Gotta get a top 5 pick boys, the top 5 is insane.

We had a solid start to the season which most of us knew wasn’t going to last. We’re in a bit of a mess right now, lineup is constantly changing, special teams suck ass and our schedule is about to get pretty tough. Going to be tough to get out of this funk. Hopefully Marty can re-energize this team and we can’t at least come up with a solid effort.
