Unlike the Knicks streak, 4 of the Rangers wins were against really good teams. Maybe Colorado banged up shouldn’t count, but they still have Rantanen scoring goals in bunches and Makar leading a healthy blueline.

It’s not always who you play, but when you play them

Not saying he should or should not be in the hot seat, but 5 games that get the team to 1 game over .500 wouldn’t change my mind either way. Hockey is just nice to give you a point for a OT loss, but they are still losses. To me 16-15 is not really much to get excited about.

I like to be results oriented so no he can stay until we lose twice again. If we just fire every coach after two losses in a row then we’ll be cup ready any day now.

As long as Goodrow is in the top six and numerous other weaker players played above better players or kids, yes.
The dude admitted he doesn’t play the best lines lol.

It’s bizarre watching the Knicks and Rangers coaches make adjustments right at the point of the seat starting to get hot enough to burn skin….and the adjustments actually work. We’ve been begging for all types of new looks on the parquet and the ice but it always felt like just our luck nothing changes or we get worse. But 5/6 games later, I’m believing in both teams again. Some more adjustments need to be made, but looking back at the start of both seasons vs where both teams are right now, it has been an emotional roller coaster.

He’s safe for the moment but he’s on thin ice

No, and our roster seems to be finally complete too. So, no trading.

I mean, he’s continuously admitted that he knows what the best lineup is and he’s actively not using it. He’s okay right now cause he’s actually letting the kids play and seems to be making adjustments and holding players accountable but once that stops it’s time for him to go.

Probably not, but dude annoys the fuck outta me during pressers in losses, like he has no emotion

Winning cures all. Still a long way to go, I wouldn’t consider his job “safe” unless we make a playoff run again
