A real defensive defenceman that can stay focused for the entire game would be a much needed addition . Hopefully the team can stay awake against a team that is at the bottom of the league. 4 am start here so I won’t get to see the game live. Keep the vids rolling.

I really have no issue with the play last night being ruled offside…really it has always been the spirit of the rule …the issue is the inconsistency of the rule being called or enforced
I was never upset about Nurse. But I was pissed today about the McDavid goal called back. After the guys explanation on Oilers Now today, all the video’s that got dug up of similar circumstances being on-side, all the ppl arguing points that go against the rule book trying to prove it as off-side I got bothered about it. THG, that guy on Oiler’s Now, Specter etc. Not a single person has explained how what we saw matches what’s written in the rules. The Makar one before I agreed with immediately cuz what we saw matched the rulebook. Not this time. Better slaughter the faulking Ducks.
I still think it is the defense coach and not the players ! The coaches really have to change the system, because there are to many holes in the defense system now ! Year after year the defense system don't work with speedy offense ! Just think about it?????

If possible, and it sounds like a big-time long shot, I still like the idea of Patrick Kane or Jonathan Toews. They obviously know what it takes to win a Cup. By the time the Hawks have a good team again Kane and Toews will either have been traded away – hopefully to the Oilers – or will have retired. The Hawks get some pieces for their rebuild while the Oilers get experience, more talent, and more leadership. The Cup window is closing for the Oilers.
Will the Dynamic Duo stay when their contracts are up? If Johnny Gaudreau can leave Calgary then anything is possible. Add some size and toughness too. A big ask all the way around.
