So many crazy things happened this game. Holl went on the ice early, bunting tapped 2 goals shot by Holl and got a hat trick and the Leafs made someone else blow a 3-1 lead.
I watched it on ESPN and that shouldn’t have been a hooking penalty the last 2 minutes of the 3rd

Matthews blows a tire 2:36:24, then Filip Hronek blows a tire in front of the net taking out a teammate 2:36:36 and then Bunting one ups them both and blows a tire into the boards 2:36:38. Then on the same shift Bertuzzi plain wiffs on the shot 2:36:53, then we have a no goal 2:37:04, and was that really a hook to end the play 2:37:12? replay of the hook 2:38:08.

Here is the thing. The red wing was very soft on the typing goal. They should have checked the Marner, hit Bunting, knocked out Matthews. But it was a beautiful goal. Don't we want to see more goals like that rather than a bunch of toothless guys knocking each other up senselessly and most goals were just lucky bounces/tips? I don't know. Sometimes I think hockey should be less physical and more about skills and speed. I enjoy games with two soft teams a lot more than games with two grinding teams.
BTW Steve should count how crappy Leafs are when he was doing live streams. IIRC, most of their losses happened when Steve was streaming. 😀
