I was a little annoyed Rangers didn’t take exception to this hit. Not only did Lafferty hurt Chytil but he also ran over Igor a little later in the game which also resulted in no response from the Rangers. Very happy by the score but disappointed in their reaction to these hits. Makes me wish we still had Reaves…at least he would’ve body checked him
Late hit and potential boarding, absolutely ridiculous there was no call. Plus Lafferty runs into Igor and there is no call. Refs are roleplaying the 3 blind mice on the ice.

You can't be watching the puck like that. But you can't be doing shoulder to the head hits so both are in the wrong.
It was late, it was a shoulder to the face and player got hurt. He knew exactly what he was doing. That’s a cheap beer league or reckless youth hockey play.
It will be reviewed by the league, and Lafferty will be a marked man next contest between the two.

If that was a late hit, it’s only by like .1sec and the refs calling it would be a pretty ticky tacky call

A late hit and the referee was looking straight at that and no call. With Reaves on the teams did not pull these stunts. I am not happy with this at all.

I love to see the Hawks with enough spirit to make these heavy hit plays, but I also hate to see the Rangers with so little spirit they don’t retaliate on these plays. You gotta respond.

Late, high, should probably be a penalty. Chytil was puck watching but that doesn't excuse Laffterty from reading the situation and going through with the hit, aiming high while he was at it.
Hardly a late hit – they all look late when you run it in slow motion. At regular speed borderline – he was standing there with the puck for seconds
