    If we trade him for futures, we can always use those futures to get another player from a team that is selling. For instance, if Colorado gives us a young center prospect, a first, a second and a roster player to make the cap work, we can trade the 1st plus more to go get a RHD from someone else while keeping the young center. The deals could happen at the same time. It doesn’t have to only be a ‘hockey trade’.
