Don’t understand the logic of not putting our top goal scorer out in the shootout.
This is easily the biggest fucking joke of a shout-out team. It’s almost like this team literally is set up to lose with how bad we are on the shootout. Sorokin was incredible today. I wanted 2 points but whatever man we need to start getting more points because this division is rough. 1 point ain’t gonna cut it. We go stride for stride with the best teams and end up settling with the one point in this road trip. I guess that’s the silver linings. Should’ve had 5 points on this road trip
Lane’s shootout strategy remains a mystery to me
Our ploy should always be risk everything in OT, cos SO is a waste of time.
So they go with:
1. The rookie with one goal
2. The guy who almost lost OT for us and didn’t shoot when directly planted in front of the net

Barzal better give his contract to Dobson because that’s a massive overpay for guy who doesn’t shoot and always turning over the puck, Dobson is heart of this team, Sorokin played great for what Barzal to blow it
3 points against the Knights and Avs on the road is very good, it’s the loss against the Yotes that really really stings. 5 points instead of 3 would be huge
