I would love to see Patrick Kane with the Rangers, IMHO, he would be a good fit—-Congrats to Stuart Skinner on his new contract, and it's a bargain IMHO for the Oilers.

Hey @top shelf hockey I'm a Blackhawks fan and i recently heard that Davidson has indicated all the UFAs are available? Not sure if kane and Toews have waived the NMC I thought Friedman would report on that. Also heard they have talked to 6 teams about Kane those being Boston/ Toronto/ Edmonton/ Colorado/ Rangers and islanders
Wouldt touch the kid line. Their chemistry gets better every game. Losing that I think the rangers will falter some. Kane would be nice for some picks.
Sammy Blais and Goodrow and a 1st for Kane, I wouldn't expect it to cost much more with the NMC and all.
it's more likely the hawks would trade one of mccabe or murphy as opposed to s.jones. and with the salary cap only going up 1 million next year, expect to see the hawks taking on 2-3 bad contracts at the deadline and/or during the offseason to help reach the floor. kane's return will be dependent upon how many teams he is willing to waive his ntc for, if he waives his ntc clause at all. you don't think kane would be interested in playing with the likes of mcdavid, matthews, mackinnon, barzel, pasta, crosby, kucherov, eichel (don't count out vegas)? the more likely scenario is that the hawks have already had preliminary negotiations with other teams and will select the offers that are more to their liking (or that they view as serious offers) as options and bring those potential landing spots to kane and his agent if/when he decides he is ready to move on.
Kane won't go to the Rangers because he doesn't want to be part of a rebuild. The Rangers are several players from contending for the Cup. He'll choose Boston over the New York because he saw first hand how dominating the Bruins can be. If Kane goes to NY, he has to carry the team in the playoffs, he goes to Boston, he doesn't have top do the heavy lifting, there is help like Begeron, Marchand, Hall, Pastrnak, Coyle, McAvoy, Lindholm. The Bruins have a better goalie tandem than the Rangers

Kane's and Kakko contracts are not even close to make it work the NYR as i expected only have like 1.5 mil cap space.The Flyers have had crazy bad luck with injuries th epast couple years but we saw how well they started when they had most of their guys back albeit still no Couturier.IMO Flyer management has done a really poor job not readying themselves for losing Giroux or his aging and of course losing his linemate Voracek it was like they had no long term plan hence poor management.
Kane moving to the Rangers will involve a couple more teams to spread out the cap hit. 10.5 M to 5. 25 M to 2.6 M to possibly 1.3 M reaching the Rangers.
