Schenns an absolute beauty and he can say whatever he wants, we’re all thinking it

Spoken like someone who actually has pride and cares about winning. He must be so lonely in that locker room.

When he said « I don’t see people going to the gritty areas » he drew himself up like he was about to get into an argument or a fight. See the media there shrink back for a second. That’s a big, ticked off man.

The players just don’t give a shit anymore and that starts from the FO down.
Guys are just out there collecting a paycheque.

Someone on the radio (I think it was Sat) more or less said:

Theres gonna be a point in the season where even Luke Schenn shrugs his shoulders and stops trying. And thats when you truly know the season is over.

    This is that.

I was at the game, after a shift saw him get back on the bench and he slammed the bench door pretty hard, could hear the boom too. He’s the only one, or few really playing with passion out there and giving it his all almost every night

That’s the true captain of the team

He’s said he wants to stay in Vancouver, and they should keep him. The second he’s gone, the inmates run the asylum. It doesn’t appear Bruce is getting through to the team as well as he did last year, the captain is on his way out and playing for a big contract, and the team is going nowhere with some of the current contracts on the books. Trading him for a draft pick would be a short term gain but Schenn is the one guy playing his heart out every night, and you absolutely need a guy like that in your locker room
