I got the feeling The Leafs are gonna try to sneak him through waivers.
Imma laugh if a) Hunt becomes a world-destroyer on JT's left and/or b) Malgin scores 25 goals on a line with Rantanen.
Funny how suddenly Malgin is so bad Leafs hardly recognise him as player. That's how biased Steve is as Leafs fan as hockey commentator.

We need bottom 6 ginders like this guy, and hats off to Malgin but he was more often the grindee. Put Hunt on the 4th line and let him keep it below the opposition goal line, he seems decent at that. I see an outside chance that Keefe will try him on the second line, to see if he can be their “Bunting”, but I’m pretty sure Jarnkrok is going right back to that spot.
The Leafs will be saved with Hunt.. Wouldn't call the guy a game changer. He disappears on the ice.
the nhl is changing. this was a 20 second announcement a couple of years ago. the cap issues this league has have ground everything to a halt and this minor trade is getting big news coverage. i think the leafs lost out on this one.
4th line left winger? Maglin second time around didn't do anything different! Why Dubas and Keefe thought it would be really questions their thought process. Adam Gaudette had a better pre season and is playing in minors? Now if they move Engvall bring up Gaudette that strengthens the 4 line.
