Hughes Sux..His shot 67mph…thats not even good enough for a junior shot..he gives the puck away in his own end and is a worse body checker than peterson.

Continually building around EP, QH, & JTM is the mistake the Canucks keep on making. You will NEVER win with those guys! They could not be more overrated! Perennial losers. Send 'em all packing and get some real hockey players in there!
Winnipeg sucked last year when Hellebuyck had an off year and now they look dominant. Average goaltending in Vancouver this year is a big part of the problem. It affects everyones play and how they play.
Ethan Bear alluded to it…"We've got to stop having so much fun and just get to work because of what needs to be done.” This team has a culture problem. I am not close enough to say who the problems are but I have my guesses. For now there needs to be a bunch of problems traded out of here.
It is crystal clear this mgmt group is another mickey mouse ops department. Time to house clean again. Did anyone watch the game and see all the 4 exec looked so uninspired. There plan is they have no direction or no plan. Just fly by the seat of their pants and collect a nice paycheck…. and hope for the best. Should somehow rid of JT Miller, Hughes, Boeser keeled and Horvat. Stop banking on these American players. Hughes and Boeser will want to leave. Calgary found out already.

Great guest, can't believe I'm 37 and grew up reading Ian in the Vancouver Sun when I was a kid eating my cereal.
That's why Trevor Linden was fired……He wanted a legit rebuild like Buffalo, and Ottawa have successfully done. And Benning/Aqualini wanted a patchwork, barely squeak into the playoffs team to fill seats.
Bad teams can win against really good teams some time, but good teams do not lose many lopsided games at home. Heck, average and below average teams have too much pride not to lose badly at home time-after-time. There is something wrong with the culture of the team. I started watching the Canucks in 88 and there were some very below-average teams talent-wise over the years. But I really cannot recall any version who appeared to play with less heart and grit as this current version.
People need to stop looking at Quinn hughes as a "great defenceman" . defence is not measured in points for, its measured in points prevented, shots blocked, hits, wicked point shot. And now the canucks are a team looking for ANOTHER defenseman, after that just drafted quinn hughes as a defenseman to cover his defensive game? mind boggling.
Time to blow things up the Canucks are not entertaining in any way and becoming a pathetic joke.
