No one showed up but Vasy maybe could of had a chance if someone didn’t pull Vasy at a stupid timing. Show up against the wings pls team
Good to have a game like this every so often to kick everyone into gear. I still like our chances against them in the postseason.
i’m convinced this team isn’t able to play « a full 60 » in the RS any more, or at least for a majority of the season. just too much mileage and other mental fatigue. normally it’s enough to win or at least keep things close especially against blah teams, but not against a team like toronto or boston or florida before this
which i mean, it’s fine, kind of the nature of their long repeated runs (for perspective their 2015-2023 run is already longer than the blackhawks run of 2009-2016) but sometimes shit like this happens and it sucks
i’m kind of wondering what the trade deadline will look like for this team, a bit hard to see jbb buying heavily

There were some bright spots, but it lacked a final product. Nothing was particularly crisp imo. Good news is they can wash it off with a win tomorrow but don’t underestimate Detroit.
Gotta mention Vasy. Vasy was great as always. I think he was 36/38.
My cats put in more effort trying to chase a bug than the Bolts did in terms of offense tonight. Just ridiculously lethargic.

The last couple years we’ve always sucked on the first game of a B2B. Nothing new here.
Tomorrow’s game is going to be tough, but the Lightning always seem to bounce back.
Realistically, we lost by one goal even with us playing like absolute dog shit. The leaf fan base will start blowing each other after this win and probably start planning a cup parade.
Poop does happen. Next game UP.
